at Durban Country Club
The Durban Country Club features a total of six all-weather top quality hard courts and four stand-alone red mini-tennis courts, the first of its kind in the province. Four of the hard courts have high quality white floodlights, while the other two are also floodlit with a white light. A Practice Wall is available on the mini tennis courts, which are situated near the kidzone and swimming pool. Our tennis facilities are available throughout the year to members and their guests, as well as visitors.

Bookings & Rates
Bookings for the courts can be done directly through the club reception on 031 313 1777. Tennis balls can also be purchased from the club reception when signing in.
Booking a court is essential, and must be done prior to commencing. Booking for members during the day can be done at no cost. Members with permanent tennis bookings must confirm these bookings with the club monthly. Bookings need to be done for anyone using the mini-tennis courts as well as the normal courts. Member are welcome to bring guests which will be charged at R30 each. Please note that this excludes playing under floodlights, the cost of which are as follows:
Court Hire:
Visitors (un-accompanied) – R110
Court Fees:
Members – N/C
Visitors (accompanied) – R30 each
Visitors (un-accompanied) – R110 each
Light Charges:
R100 per hour
The top quality floodlights (white light) are on courts 1,2,5 and 6. Courts 3 and 4 have a lower quality white lights. The four mini-tennis courts (A, B, C, D) do not have floodlights, bookings must also be done for these courts.
Mini Tennis
Durban Country Club encourages juniors to participate in tennis, offering squads, group and individual lessons and various tours around the country as well as competing in the local tennis leagues. We also have a fully functioning mini-tennis programme for children wanting to learn the game.
Coaching
Professional tennis instruction is offered to all ages and levels of play. Whatever your tennis goals, the coaching team will help you achieve them. Contact us via email for coaching enquiries.
