Nominations for the Board of Governors

The Club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on 23rd April 2018 at 6.00pm. This important meeting provides members with the opportunity of electing candidates to the Board of Governors. There will be five vacancies on the Board. Three existing Board member’s term of office expires, and two positions are vacant. The co-opted Board Members are eligible for election. Applications are sought from individuals who may wish to make themselves available for election to the Board of Governors.

In terms of clause 12.1 of the Constitution, interested parties are reminded that nominations to the Board require that a nomination form be completed and signed by the candidate and two members. This form must be accompanied by a short CV of the candidate (limited to 75 words) and must be delivered to the General Manager at the Club by no later than midday on Thursday, 1 March 2018.

Please also note that only members of the club who are full, senior, life or associate members of 30 years of age or older who have been members of the club for a minimum of 5 years are eligible for election to the Board.
